Description The Encyclopedia of Black Magic describes the beliefs and practices of magicians, occultists, and followers of the left-hand path from ancient times to the present, including classical and medieval practitioners, voodoo, tantra, Satanists, and modern figures such as Aleister Crowley A compilation of art, history and the existing organizations in 1990. There are formulas for spells, love potions, sexual spells and tales of the sorcerers which used them. The editors also speak of the ludicrous reasons of having to need a spell. This is not a how to book but an analysis of the idiotic-racy of the lengths humans have traveled to achieve something that hard work will result in or the events that just were not meant to be. Making someone fall in love with one is an example of how greed, lust and pride just do not prevail. The “Seven Deadly Sins” are scattered throughout this text although not identified directly, they are just chapters within these writings. This Encyclopedia covers Black Magic from many cultures. A large number of practitioners are mentioned from the beginning of recorded time to the publishing of this book. The distressed cover is part of the book design. Vintage 1990
